Hi Andy, If the system is working normally otherwise, then the chances are that it is simply the motherboard battery which has died. These are usually coin batteries, so you will have to access the motherboard to find out what type it is. It should not be expensive, but you may need some skilled sighted help to remove and replace it. Hi all. My old Packard Bell computer, which is about five years old, keeps telling me that the date and time is wrong. Despite going into the settings and fixing this, a couple of hours later, or the next day, it's telling me the same again. When I investigate, the date is 2003. Is this a sign that the old boy is about to quit? Best wishes.
