[access-uk] Re: Ipods

All current iPods from shuffle upwards now except for the classic can have
speech enabled. iPod has been subsumed really as a function of the iPod
touches which do much more than just play music, even on the iPhone the phone
bit is just a sub-function yet again of what really is a portable computer.
Whilst the iPod classic refuses to die it is very likely to be developed to
have speech built in. The memory of the iPod touch 64GB is already somewhat
over the sweet spot in terms of personal iPod storage as it is.

Regards.

Hi Andy

Then probably the Nano in 16 or 8GB with VoiceOver, or the iPod Touch in
64GB or 32GB with VoiceOver. There are probably a couple more I have
forgotten or don't know about. Most will have bells and whistles though.

Kind Regards,

Subject: [access-uk] Ipods

Hi all -

I take it that the Ipod classic 160GB is still inaccessible to blind people?
So, which of the Ipod range is accessible with the largest music capacity.
I'm only interested in a music player, not one with loads of bells and
whistles -

Andy
