[access-uk] Re: Ipod or mp3 recommendations please

I am not particularly trying sell iPods here, lets be clear about that
there is no bandwagon.  The original enquiry related to a present for
use by a fully sighted user interested primarily in Audiobooks.  If the
answer were about players for a visually impaired person who wanted to
extensively manage the players material the answer would be somewhat
different.  I also (conducting my own defense here) did suggest in my
original post that the enquirer could look at Audible and their
compatible device listing for alternatives for a suitable player on the
possibly wild assumption that they may be anticipating using one the
largest online stores for purchasing audiobook material.  

Anyway, from extended personal experience (some five years over two iPod
itterations) my ipod touch regularly will play from the location it last
stopped at using Audible audiobook material.  This will happen even if
you have listened to any number of music tracks in between, you will
still be able to return to the location you left off when you select the
audio book title you were previously listening to.  The 4G iPod I had
before (and still working) also would do this quite happily.  Neither
machine I own is unique among iPods for doing this.
