Good luck Madleen, it's why I didn't fancy that route.
I've just collected my new iPhone, but I need to put it onto the Mac so I
can get it registered and VoiceOver turned on it. O2 have now transferred
me over, and I should be up and running in about 24 hours time they say.
God help them if they mess me about any more, I haven't got the energy for
this! (smile).
I may well try to transfer my contacts using the method Tris outlined
yesterday through iSync and see how it goes.

I've tried to copy it with the method we talked about here yesteerday.
I've saved all contacts to my phone first then put the new sim into my phone
and then put it across to the phone. It's all muddled up in a sense that
mobile numbers are in telephone numbers and what have you, it also seems to
have copied just half of my contacts. So it's going to be the software
mothod I'm trying out tonight.. Wish me luck... Madleen

When I purchased my iphone from vodafone, i took the phone in to the shop
with my N82 and they transferred the contacs over so i didn't have to copy
them manually. they apparently used computer software to achieve this.
