Hi Debbie,

There are two ways to get the speech on, one requiring sighted assistance
and one not.

The quickest if you have sighted assistance is to go into settings, then
general, then accessibility, and turn on Voiceover. The second way you can
do it is through iTunes, though you'll need version 9.2 or later.

The voice on the iPhone is very clear, and I think follows your phone's
regional settings by default.

You can get a screen protector from http://www.solona.net/ though I can't
vouch for them as I haven't used them.

Hello

Well I went and had a look at one today but the man in the shop didn't know
anything about it. So my first question is how do you get the voices to run
and are they clear? Secondly people say that you can get a sleeve protector
which has Braille on it where do I get one.
I haven't bought this phone yet but I am seriously thinking about it on my
vodafone upgrade.

Thanks

Debbie

Hi Debbie,

I am using an IPhone 3GS which is essentially an IPhone 4 without the
increase in battery life, the extra cameras and the other bells and
whistles.

The IPhone is perfectly accessible, although typing takes a bit of getting
used to and some time when sending messages. You can buy an external
Bluetooth keyboard though.
