Hi Debbie, AIM stands for AOL Instant Messenger, and I believe it's accessible with JAWS, however I've not tried it myself as I personally use MSN, or, more specifically, Windows Live Messenger, as many of my friends are on that versus I hardly know anyone on AIM. Hope that helps.
