Thanks Jackie et al,

Your feedback has convinced me to go ahead and install MS essentials and say goodbye to NOD 32 which has served me well.

are agree with Jackie, MSE just doesn't get in the way of the screen reader.

Hi Peter

I uninstalled Nod32 once its licence ran out, then installed MSE. I
wouldn't personally ever run two antivirus packages together as I believe it drains your CPU resources, and your screen reader already does that anyway.

I had nothing against Nod32, but feel MSE is still lighter yet. So far, I
am very pleased with it as it works nicely in the background, and doesn't
seem to interfere or intrude with the running of the machine.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

I am currently using NOD32 anti virus software. My subscription is about
to run out and I am considering replacing it with Microsoft essentials.
Should I uninstall NOD32 before installing MS essentials? Can I run them
both together?

Any advice much appreciated.
