All in favour, as I've indicated, of prasing the care and attention you received whilst in hospital Jackie. That doesn't come to readily from many in this community. Two possible internet and circulating audio mags come to mind to get your message across. Soundings and Soundaround. The latter I've only recently had cause to become re-acquainted with, and I find its approach a bit odd or quaint to say the least, but I think it is very popular. Hope you do have luck with In Touch though, and maybe its a case of keeping on trying there. I've had a very positive response from the CEO in Grampian, but nothing at all so far from any of our outlets, as I call them, in the VI community. It would make a pleasant change. Ian and I are in touch off list, but it's obviously his decision whether he thinks there is a good story in this for Disability Now. Wearing a journalist hat here, I would bite someone's hand off for a story like that, but it's not my call. I just want to do the right thing here and thank the relevant people, giving them acknowledgement where it is due. They didn't just look after me like a baby, they looked after Ian too. They were even wanting him to stay with me over Christmas because they thought it was terrible that he had to travel so far. But we declined because of young Ian being on his own over the holiday. That's the sort of generosity we're talking about here. Thanks again. Ian is now Editor of "Disability Now" Magazine, and may well be interested in some good NHS news. George. Have just done likewise via the web with You and Yours, so we'll see. At the end of the day, it probably doesn't sound much to anyone else, but I feel passionately about it because we are all quick to moan when it's not a good outcome, and I know those people went well beyond the call of duty for Ian and me. That's why it means so much. Thanks though.
