Sunil,

I have an N95. I hope the following is helpful.

If you've found the battery, take it out. With the phone held so the
camera lens is towards the left, run your finger over the surface of the
battery compartment.

Towards the bottom left corner, you'll feel a rough surface. This is
the top of the sim card compartment. Run your finger along the bottom edge
of this rough surface, closest to the bottom edge of the phone as you're
holding it. You'll find a catch that will enable you to open the compartment
door upwards. The sim card goes in there.

The memory card slot can be found by holding the phone face towards
you, with the number pad towards the bottom. On the left hand side of the
phone, nearly at the bottom, there's a small catch.

Use your finger nail to flip the catch, so that a small thin door
opens upwards. As with the battery compartment, it's a bit fiddly, but
that's where the memory card goes.

I'm afraid I don't know why PC Suite won't recognise your phone
though. Possibly because the sim card isn't in it perhaps?

Regards,
Léonie.

Subject: [access-uk] Idiot's guide to using the N95 from a blind perspective

Hi, I've been googling but haven't managed to find any tutorials introducing
the N95 done by a blind person. Are there any? I've just bought an N95 but
can't figure out how to get started. I don't know for sure where the sim
card goes, but I've opened up a flap under the battery but I don't know if
that's where it goes. So I thought I'd try and install Talks so I can play
around with the phone a bit. I turned it on and hooked it up to my computer
via the mini USB jack. But PC Suite said that there were no phones
connected. Can anyone explain why that is? I'm trying to find where the
memory card goes as well. I've opened a door on the bottom left but the slot
seems way too small for what I thought was a Micro SD card. The card I was
trying to slot in was a 2gb one I was using with an N70. It also seems too
small for the memory card in my E61 too.

If anyone can point me towards a good introductory tutorial, tell me how to
access the sim and memory card slots and if the cards out of an N70 or E61
will fit into an N95 I'd really appreciate it. Am getting really
frustrated...cheers in advance
