You can find info on the nano here:
http://www.techno-vision.co.uk/nano.htm
no price is listed but it does say it costs under £600 which in the usual way
of these things probably means it costs £599.99.
it's braile in voice out with a serial port for connection to PC, or a serial
to usb converter to make transfer more convenient. Suspect output to pc is in
text only.

I looked at it 2 or 3 years ago and was quite impressed as an effect low ocst
alternative to the more all singing all dancing PDAs but in the end didn't buy
one, mind you nor did I buy anything else.

Hi Mandy

Sorry I'm a bit late on this one, but I've been playing catch-up with Emails.

There are several PDA devices on the market, depending I guess on what you want
to pay. VoiceNote, VoiceSense and Pac Mate all come in qwerty or Braille
keyboard flavours. I believe there is also something called the Nano, about
which I know virtually nothing, except that it is cheaper than any of the
above. I also understand the Tadi Organiser is still around which is even
cheaper.

Specifically referring to Pac Mate, let me know if you would like further
information or a demonstration.

Hi All.

I think I know the answer to this question but is there anything on the market
now like a PDA with a tactile keyboard with speech just for keeping notes
andcontacts, addresses, phone numbers etc?

Mandy.
