I'm not in the least bit religious so am the wrong one to comment really, but I
know the Torch Trust have produced or make available for sale an online bible
with practically all the different versions of the bible. I helped someone to
install it and set it up once which I think was a tiny bit of a fiddle but got
there. I believe if you look to the USA you will find tons more the same kind
of thing.
Of course for things like Koran there would be issues about screen readers and
relevant speech engines which would be an access issue unless one could read an
English translation.

Regards.

Subject: [access-uk] IN TOUCH - ACCESS TO RELIGIOUS MATERIAL

A listener who's also a VI Roman Catholic priest has contacted the show
about his lack of access to biblical and other material. I'd like to
have something on about this in the near future. Would anyone who has
had difficulty getting hold of Christian or material relating to other
faiths, or who has found solutions, computer related or otherwise to
overcoming difficulties please email me at
  Ian.macrae@xxxxxxxxx
I'm aware of the book courier bible. But in what range of formats is
  the Koran, for example, available?

Look forward to hearing your stories.

  Ian
