Graham,

I believe that only critical updates are downloaded automatically
and that IE7 will not be distributed as a critical update.

Regards,
Tink.

on this subject, is there a way to stop autoupdate downloading Internet
Explorer 7?

For many people, upgrading their screenreader is not an option on financial
grounds. I'm not complaining as I realise screenreaders need to be financed
but there is an issue here never the less. I know you can turn off auto
update altogether but this is not really an ideal solution, particularly for
those who are used to just letting Windows update itself.

Cheers

Graham

Hi,

Thanks. I may have to give this a go as my IE 6 is playing up and I don't
know if it would roll back as this machine was already updated with software
installed to 6. I'll give it a go soon. How do you like it?
