[access-uk] Re: IE and OE query

To copy the favourites list, copy them onto a floppy, themn on the xp
machine enter the Documents and settings, cursor down to the Owner
directory and paste them in replacing the original file.
hope that helps
If transferring your address book in OE, could I suggest you export it as a
text file to a floppy and copy it into the right sub-folder again in the
documents and settings directory. You will need to search out exactly
where, or better use the import facility. I only use the export thing to
back up my list.
Just a suggestion, hope it helps.

Kind Regards

Subject: [access-uk] IE and OE query

Can anyone help with this Outlook Express and Internet Explorer query?
Will soon be moving to a new machine, from Win 98 to XP. Is it possible to
move my favourites in IE and also the message rules, folders etc. in OE to
the new XP machine?

Any help greatly appreciated,

Scott
