hi if you use the application key there should be the option to create a
short key, if not the when on the item use file and send to and then short
key to desk top.
for jaws users

If 'I go into properties from the desktop the option for assigning a
shortcut key for these two is not there, unlike the other icons that I have
put as short cut keys on the desktop.
