Hi James.
Thanks very much for that, problem solved. I recovered a document without any
trouble.
Valerie.

Hi Valerie
To find your recovered document, hit F6 when the blank document opens and
then select your recovered document from the list. sometimes you will find
multiple versions of the same file, if this happens, hit F6 to return to the
list again and select another file. Once you are sure that you have the
correct, most up-to-date version open in Word, you will need to re-save it, as
you cannot just hit control+S to update the original file. you can use the
same filename if you want to, and Word will prompt you to overwrite the
original file with the recovered one.
I hope this solves your problem.
Best wishes
James

Subject: [access-uk] Help with document recovery
Hi all,
My computer at work has the habit of jamming now and again whilst I'm in
the middle of a document which means I have to re-start. Fortunately my
unsaved document is recovered, but when I launch Microsoft word a blank
document comes up rather than my recovered document. I know the recovered
document is there but I can't figure out how to bring it up. I have to get a
sighted colleague to recover it using the mouse but obviously I need to know
how to do it using the keyboard. Any help would be appreciated.
Valerie Pickles.
