[access-uk] Re: Help needed with Jaws not reading!

Hi Christine,

You didn't mention which application you were having problems with.

If it is MS Word, perhaps try the following.

Firstly, go to the View menu and make sure that "Normal" is checked.

secondly, go back to the View menu and choose "Zoom". Some say that it is best to set the percentage to 75, though I've always found that 100% works just fine.

Alternatively, try asking the same question on the JAWS UK list. I think you already have the subscription details.

Regards.

Ian

Subject: [access-uk] Help needed with Jaws not reading!

Hi all, I am fedup of the college computer not reading properly, its Jaws
and whenever I use the arrow keys (control and right/left arrow) it won't
read, it will read up/down (control up/down arrow) but it makes it hard when
I want to correct something I find I am having to find the line then move
letter by letter which is very tiresome. Also I can't get the thing to read
a whole parragraph? Help Greatfully appreciated, guess its a setting?

Thanks, Christine W in Fleetwood.
