Cheers William. This was the bit of the puzzle I was missing. All's working
well at long last!

    Hi Darran -

Yes, I found my way there, but like you, can't actually change the voice,
only it's position in the list of available voices and languages -

William, do you actually know how I go about getting Australian English
to stick as my default language setting?
And Andy, yes I'm also using the 4th Gen model. The options are located
as indicated by William, within the Language Rotor settings.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about my IPod Touch, and am
assuming voice over is the same for the Touch and Phone? -

Darran - is this a UK phone? I don't seem to have alternative
voices/accents, just the default one -

                  Hi List.

I'm unable to change the Voice Over from British English to
Australian English. I've found the area in settings to do this, or so I
thought, but after I highlight and select AustrailianEnglish, nothing changes.
British English is still the selected voice.

There doesn't seem to be an OK or Save button after
Australian Karen has been selected and this seems to be the step I'm missing.
The Apple website hasn't thrown any light on the subject either.

Can anyone tell me what I'm not doing to make the choice of
Karen a permanent one for Voice Over?

                  Many thanks.

                  Darran
