[access-uk] Re: Heating Thermostats accessibility

Hi,

As luck would have it I was thinking about this lately. I've contacted the
company mentioned, so will shout back with any responses.

Regards,
Barry.

Steve,

If you get any useful information will you please share it with the list,
I'm sure many VIP's are interested in accessibility of these devices,
including myself.

Regards
Jim

Hi mate,

Thanks for the info. I've been trying to look into IP based control however
have drawn a bit of a blank so far. The web address you sent looks very
interesting. I'll give them a go.

Kind regards.

Steve

Hi.
You may wish to try the Radiothermostat products
http://www.radiothermostat.com/support.html
I am reliably informed that they are accessible, but am not sure
about use in the UK, you may wish to ask the company about that. You may
also wish to check with your utility, some of them are either offering
thermostats for sale which can be controled over the internet, or even
giving them away.
I hope this is of use.
Aman

Hi Guys,

Anyone got any information about accessible RF wireless thermostats. There
are some US models which have speech but these are wired and apparently, not
for UK use.

Grateful for any information.

Steve
