Hi Steve.

Absolute rubbish.  Certainly the cheap "Skype certified" junk that is produced 
by the likes of Logitech and Microsoft may have poorer quality mics, but every 
Plantronics I've ever owned has a perfectly acceptable, crystal clear 
microphone.  As for USB and the older two plug style headsets, surely that is 
preference?  Besides, you might have a knaf sound card, so at least with USB 
you get another sound card engineered to make the most of the headphones 
attached to it.  Just my thoughts.

  Just as another perspective, I hate USB headsets with a passion. I also hate 
their cheap microphones, they sound awful on Skype.  Give me the 3mm jack 
approach any day, they don't rely on buggy software drivers to run them.

  Just checked and this has very poor reviews on Amazon. I was particularly 
interested in this single earpiece as it would be very handy if on the phone 
and trying to use the PC at the same time. Does anyone know of any other
