Hi Vince

Ah, yes - I should have mentioned that I'm using Word 2003. In *layout*, there
doesn't seem to be an option to seprate what can be done with the header and
the footer. Am I missing something?

Barry

If you are talking about Microsoft Word, try the file menu, Page Setup
option. On the Layout tab, you will find various options for different first
and last pages.

    Hi all

In a multiple paged document, is there any way of getting a header on the
first page and the footer on the last page? Can I make a template that will do
this?

    Thanks

    Barry
