SorryMalcolm, but I have just tried it and there is nothing in the properties
relating to the shortkey. If hal was on my desktop It would be easy to change
the shortcut key but it is not on there.

If you go to the Hal item in your start menu you can either press Shift F 10
or the Application key to navigate to the properties for that item and replace
the short cut key to one of your choice.
