I got a reply from @hivehelper saying they are aware how important
accessibility to the app is and intend to fix it as a matter of priority.
Here's hoping it won't be much longer but it looks like it will be fixed.

i agree completely, its the up to go down and down to go up that it took me
a while to get used to,

Yes, it is, but it is fiddly.
Double tap and hold the temperature, until you hear a second triple
tone. Then slide your finger up and down, down to go up and up to go down.
Then release and read the temp. It's not ideal but do-able.

An update for the Hive app came out a week or so ago
and I just got around to updating it. Sorry to say it is no longer possible
to change the heating tempreture as Voice Over can no longer adjust the
value of the control. Does anyone know of a way to contact the developers as
I can find no way to do it in the app?
