Now do C (combo box) and arrow down to say 20, change it from 10 to whatever you want, 20 is the next lowest number of results on the page. Tab to save settings and press spacebar. Now each time you go to www.google.co.uk you will not hear "screen reader users click here to turn Google instant off" and it should stay like until you change a Google search setting. I don't think Jaws works with this and I haven't got it on my computers. The url is http://labs.google.com/accessible/ John. ----- Original Message ----- From: Eleanor Burke To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, January 15, 2011 10:19 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Google While I appreciat I am responding to a very old e-mail, I have just tried the link below but am still being driven mad by this Google Instant. Has anyone managed to resolve this issue? I have turned it off but it just comes back again and again. ----- Original Message ----- From: Pele West To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, December 11, 2010 9:45 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Google Hi Brian I also found that I could not turn off Google Instant, even though I kept amending my search settings. However, after some Googling, I found a URl which seems to work. It is http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?complete=0 I have had no problems with this site, the searches work fine. Pele West
