Hi Christopher, I have never had completely flat batteries, and we only
charge ours for 2 hours. I hope yours take an ordinary penlight battery?
Ours take two AA's so eventually we will replace them easily. Sometimes
when I am stuck into a Really interesting talking book I can't stop reading
my bats do die and I can change them for two spare ones, they are that
easily replaced.

Did you charge your batteries before you used them like we are supposed to,
which preserves the life of them? When you take off the headset switch it
off on the headset, it may take you time to remember to do this as it isn't
done with wired ones, you just wip them off and go to sleep! Normal use for
me is about 2 hours each morning and I charge them up each week because they
are eventually going to die suddenly after ten hours.

Take care, Christine.---- Original Message -----

Thanks for the reply. The headphones are temporarily not working at the
mo even though I've set it up correctly. So I am assuming that the
batteries were dead this morning, so hopefully charging it will make
them work again. Is this what happens when the batteries are flat (i.e.
I hear a popping noise when turning it on, but nothing else)? Also, I'm
a bit shocked that despite me turning the headphones off last night it
could use up the batteries? Anyway fingers crossed, they will work
tonight (I was told to give it 14 to 16 hours to charge). Thanks for the
assurance that they will not break within 4 months. In terms of managing
without hearing aids, it's very difficult. The problem I have is that I
have mislaid some batteries and for some reason my department at home
are taking a while to send them to me. Thanks again for the message, and
I look forward to hearing from you.
