Yusuf, I take it you've gone into the Volume Control area of XP under: programs, accessories, entertainment and clicked on volume control? Once inside the application, hit the alt key to bring up the menu. Arrow down to Properties and click it. It'll tell you the name of your sound card. tab once and arrow up or down to select 'adjust volume for recording'. Then tab one more time to see what you can control: microphone, line in, 'what you hear', etc. Tick them then hit escape to exit and by tabbing, you can look at what is set to mute or what volume control may be a bit too low. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Yusuf Sent: 16 May 2011 10:09 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Goldwave Question Pele, Do you happen to know if something similar might work for Windows XP? I've never been able to get Goldwave to record from my sound card and I'm pretty sure its the same as yours.
