[access-uk] Re: Goldwave

The file lame_enc.dll should be placed in the goldwave directory, but if in doubt, place it in the windows\system32 folder. Hope that helps.

Please can anyone tell me, how do you install lame_enc.dll? Do you simply copy it into the Goldwave folder or do you have to do something else?

I'm having a problem at the moment. I can save into Ogg Vorbis fine, but I want to save a Wav file as a variable bit rate mp3. I've gone into files, save as, selected the mp3 type, and then gone into attributes. I've selected quality level 4 from the combo box. I've set a minimum of 128 and a maximum of 320. But when I save the file, the bit rate is constant. What am I doing wrong? Rather frustrating!
