Mo,

Just wondering if the deleting you refer to is also for deleting from the inbox of one's email client such as Thunderbird or is it from deleted items?
Best,

Hi jackie. If you use imap, when you delete messages they will also delete from the server your online inbox. This is why i dislike pop, its not always accurate.

cheers,

Mo.

    Hi again Mo

One more question, (hopefully). I note that in my Gmail Inbox on the site,
all the messages I have received since subscribing to my lists today are
there. Is there a Gmail setting that will delete them once they have been
forwarded to my Outlook client? I have unticked the "keep a copy of
messages on the server" box within Outlook, so why are they still in my
Inbox on the Gmail site I wonder?

I hope this makes sense, apologies for my stupidity, I am rather tired.

    Kind regards,

    Jackie Brown

    hi jackie.

check the boxes for the messages you want to move. then go to the combo
box above or below the table, there's 1 at the top and 1 at the bottom
of the page and select the action you'd like to perform. there's also a
delete button to delete your messages. to make a new folder, go to the
labels section and make a new label. gmail organises messages using
labels. the above applies if you're using basic html as your default
view. i hope its of some help?

    Mo.

please? I am not receiving my own messages sent to the list,
and want to know how to delete anything that wanders into
folders on the web. Many thanks. Kind regards, Jackie Brown
