Does ctrl shift and end highlight them all from the point of focus? If not, then I'm out of suggestions.

Good luck

Thanks for the suggestion, Barry, but perhaps I did not explain
myself very well.
When a message in the in box goes to my POP3 client it seems to go
simultaneously to the Deleted folder in the webmail interface. Each
item has an individual check box and there seems no way of selecting
more than one at a time. They are not in a list where you could
hold down shift and cursor down to select them all. The same thing
applies to other folders as far as I can tell. Even a sighted person
would find selecting a number of items tedious unless there is a
button which I am missing.
