Mandy,From memory when you see 'standard view' then you are in HTML if that makes sense!
'Standard View' is inviting one to change to it if they want, and visa versa, that's all really.

Hi Jonathan,Sorry to be a pest, I went in on that link, signed in and still on Standardview. I don't mind that but where the hell is the link to change it to basic html. Maybe you can find it from standard view. The second link I posted, https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=html&zy=h , puts me directly into html basic view. Not sure why it's not working for you. Can anyone else confirm if it works for them? I did look on there, still can't see howtoread mail and don't see a link anywhere to put me on basic html, it usedtobe at the bottom of the page, Also in standard view, I could read mail by going to the bottom of the page as well but don't seem to be able to find the open mail, or unless it's not opening when I press the link on the subject of the mail which used to get me there after checking the one Ineedto read.
