Hi Ibrahim,

I am surprised at that. The GPS receiver on the N79 is superb.

All the best

Steve

Hi.

The receiver in the E71 is good for driving, but I wouldn't use it for
pedestrian navigation. The refresh time is considerably slower than on an
external high quality receiver, added to this the additional strain on the
phone's battery and it just isn't worth while. By all means, if your in a
taxi or a passenger in a car though, it makes a good backup if your external
for some reason isn't available or working.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi. How good is the built in receiver on the E71. I've tried it out today
and got a fix straight away. I didn't use it for navigation! Only for
exploration in WFA. I had the cross roads tab sheet running and sometimes
WFA would report that a certain road was approaching when I already had
crossed it. Is the receiver equivalent to a 51 channel receiver?
