News Headlines The latest chip and PIN barometer published on 23rd August shows that the roll-out is on track and fast approaching the 2004 target. Nearly 50 million chip and PIN cards have been issued to over 25 million cardholders and almost 400 thousand tills are chip and PIN enabled. Chip and PIN advertising on TV, Radio and in the Press commenced on August 23rd and will run until early October. The Disability Rights Commission chip and PIN seminar took place on July 26th; representatives from Arthritis Care, Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and RADAR were in attendance.
