Ian,

More co-incidence than anything. The software counts
bounces, and when it hits a figure of "hard" bounces (i.e.
domain name failure) it automatically removes the member.
Most likely happened at a time when there were a lot of
JAWS-UK messages passing through.

George.

George
The strange thing was that it was only the JAWS UK list that
was affected.

Hi Ian,

I must confess that I don't always keep a close eye on the
logs, but usually when this happens it's because there have
been a number of "Fatal" bounces.

You are with Freeserve I see, and I do see their Domain name
cropping up a great deal in the bounce list.

George.

Hi
From time to time I have found myself for no apparent reason
unsubscribed from one or other of the Freelist lists to
which I am subscribed. Is this something which other people
have encountered and what is the likely cause of this?
