Actually, that security essentials looks pretty good from what I've read.
Haven't tried it though.

I don't know the answer to Steve's question but if you really must have a
free anti-virus and want some ideas apart from the usual suspects like AVG
and AVAST which have at various times proven useful for screen reader users
why not look at Microsoft Security Essentials which seems pretty good at the
moment.
