Hello all.
Just received the 32 GB 4th generation this morning. I have managed to
register it with Apple, however Window-Eyes didn't read the apple ID
screen properly. But I got there in the end by turning off browse mode.
I have also managed to update the software to 4.3.3. This took about ten
minutes. I have also put some music on it. VoiceOver looks very
impressive as I expected. It even tells me if synching is in progress.
As for the touch screen, well it is still charging, but I was able to
read the time and the battery status. I also managed to accidentlly do a
flick down, as it read the number 1 from the number 100.
But there's a lot to learn yet. Speaking of learning, can someone please
remind me how I lock the orientation? This will be the first thing I
need to do, or else my touch will change to landscape and portrait and
vice versa, which must be very annoying!
Many thanks.
Take care.
