There would be uses for that but it would need to be organised. You wouldn't want to go replacing most or all of your labels with someone else's, best to dedicate a certain pack or sheet of labels for this use and agree with the person or organisation you are labelling with.

Theoretically though, would it not be possible if your friend sent you the file he'd uploaded from his, you could put it onto yours, and see what he'd written on his card! Yes, a bit of a funny way around things and probably not worth it, but doable. This may be useful occasionally, perhaps.
