I have tried numerous firewalls, all of which, except for AVG Pro, cause
problems with screen readers. AVG Pro, however, is not free, however you
can download it and use it for 30 days before a licence is required.
Hope that helps. P.S. Windows Firewall will block incoming traffic only,
not both incoming and outgoing traffic.
