thanks for your feedback. As I said, I am using NVDA, which, if I'm right,
works well with Firefox.  I've heard of Webvism which I'm sure I'll find
useful as I cannot see the graphical image and have to rely on the audio, not always understandable, even when wearing headphones. Our son David, who is fully sighted, uses Firefox for those sites which IE has trouble with and he
advised me not to have Firefox as my default browser.
