Dean, I couldn't agree with you more. Talks and the K-NFB Reader are a
perfect partnership. Combine these two pieces of kit on one phone and
just think what power it gives the user! Awesome!

After buying various assistive technology in my quite short life I go
with the KNFB Reader. There are other contendors like colour detectors,
GPS systems, the Mac with Voice Over built in but in my view the KNFB
Reader seems to live up to much of its hype. Now I have had it over a
year and am very used to taking a picture getting the distance and aim
just about right most of the time it seems a reliable reader both at
home and on the move. Like others on this list who own one I don't work
but still find it useful for menus, checking letters before I bother to
go to the PC and scan them, product boxes and more. I still take help
when its there but its nice to know you have a decent OCR package in
your pocket. Very unusual for assistive technology, pocket sized
actually means it will fit into a standard pocket and not a giants!
