Hi Eleanor, L = jump to next link V+ Jump to next visited link HTH. Sorry, I am using a new view in Outlook 2010 so I'm still getting used to what order messages are displayed. It can mean me accidentally replying to the wrong person on the list, for which I apologise. Note this is only for my accounts where I use mailing lists, so the same error does not occur with personal mail. Apologies again. _______________________________________ Have a pleasant day, Kind Regards and Best Wishes, Hussein. Another thing is Ian said he is a Jaws user and not a Supernova user. When in Auto-DC, use the following: H = heading P = paragraph E = edit field R = radio C = checkbox B = button S = scroll list Those are the most common ones. There are others as well such as for visited or unvisited link, etc. HTH. _______________________________________ Have a pleasant day, Kind Regards and Best Wishes, Hussein. Yes I am sure Supernova does have the navagation keys. I must familiarise myself with them. ----- Original Message ----- From: Iain Lackie <mailto:ilackie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, August 25, 2010 7:39 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Face Book Questions You can have Facebook remember you on the computer so that you should be taken straight to the direct link without having to log in. Does Supernova have quick navigation keys? Iain From: Eleanor Burke <mailto:eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 25, 2010 7:30 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Face Book Questions Thank you Ian. I am a Supernova User. I take on board what you say however, I remain puzzled about the comment bit. The link was there but when I logged in with my password it was then gone and I could not leave my comment. I am wondering if someone can tell me what was going on there and how I locate the link again to leave my comment. I should say at this point ai am a JAWS user. I have also found that when things unexpectedly don't appear to change, a screen refresh (JAWS Key+escape) shows whether or not the change has happened. when someone adds a Facebook comment to a thread on which you have commented, you may well receive an email message telling you this. There is really no substitute for looking round any Facebook page (or any other page for that matter) before actually doing anything. Iain From: Eleanor Burke <mailto:eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 25, 2010 5:07 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Face Book Questions 1. Is there anyone using Face Book who would be prepared on answer my questions on or off list? 2. While I can navagate a page on Facebook, this does not give me a mental map of the page and possible other standard pages on Facebook. Is this something someone can help with or is it just a matter of me working it out for myself? 3. I was given a link to someone's page on Facebook and clicking on the link, took me there. I tabbed round and got an idea what was on the page. There were certain things said and then below that there was a link to Comment. I clicked on the link but nothing seemed to happen. I then began tabbing around the page again to see what was going on and I realized the screen had changed and I think I was being asked to Login, finding the edit boxes for this, or actually it was my password, I had to put it, I was then put back in the origional page of Facebook. then I looked for the subject being spoken of and the Comment link below it but now the Comment link had disappeared. Obviously now that I had got in with my password, things had changed but this was where I was getting unstuck. 4. Say someone can tell me what to do to comment, how then do I go about seeing the reply to what I said on the person's page. the reply might come from the person or anyone else that the person has allowed to write on their page. I'mhappy for responses off list. Eleanor
