Thanks Ibrahim - I'm not really thinking about changing my phone just yet, so
haven't checked out the Iphone in terms of cost, and accessibility. I wonder if
there's much hope that other TALKS compatible phones will eventually have
Audible Enhanced capability -

Andy

  Hi Andy.

If you specifically want to listen to enhanced format titles on the go, you
might want to consider either an Apple IPhone type device, either the IPhone
itself, the IPod or the IPad all of which support enhanced format files, or a
specialist player such as the victor stream with softpack or the booksense
range of products.

  All the best, Ibrahim.

      Hi Andy.

If you have activated your pc with the audible service, simply redownload
the titles in enhanced quality and listen to them on your pc, but you wont be
able to listen to them on your Nokia phone in said quality, only format 4. I
hope that's clearer for you.

      All the best, Ibrahim.

Barry - I'm confused now, given what Ibrahim said in his message. I
have some titles in my online library, that are not of the greatest quality,
but there is now an enhanced version of these books available, and I'd love to
re-read these titles in improved quality preferabley on my N82 which has the
Audible player installed, I understood this couldn't be done, I'm not even sure
it can be done on the PC. Hoping then for some clarification? -

        Andy

I've been downloading the Enhanced version 4 audio quality on my N86
since at least last November . I use the Symbian app on the phone.

          Barry.

          hiAmro -

Is there updated software for audible enhancement for mobile phones?
Last I was aware, was that the audible enhancement would work on Ipods, and
some Apple phones, but not Nokia phones. -

Subject: [access-uk] FYI: a new annoying tick box on Audible to
download

For those who download Audible contents in Audible Enhanced Audio
formats you may need to tick a tick box toward the top of your library page
before you can download your purchase. The tick box is a confirmation message
to insure that you have installed the latest Audible Manager updates. Without
ticking this box the downloading links will not click.

I thought I would mention this to save anyone wandering why they
can't download Audible programs. It took me the best of half an hour trying to
click the downloading link in vain before I noticed this newly added
confirmation message.

BTW, you can update Audible Manager from menu>help>check for
updates from within Audible Manager itself.

Hope this info will be of some help.

            Amro
