I would not have mentioned it unless I was suure of the person's
trustworthiness.  Having said that, I take no responsibility for
anything which may go wrong.  You try it at your own risk.  I know the
person who put it up on Dropbox to be entirely honourable and she
would definitely not knowingly offer a corrupt file for download.

I am told that it works well, so would be amazed if you had any problems.

I have been advised that the new Kindle for pc software with
accessible features is useable outside of the U.S.  The download
itself is not easy to get, so below is a dropbox link which should
help.  I believe it is 240 MB so be warned.  I have not tried this
myself but would be interested in knowing how people get on.
