Windows messenger sends out messages to your computer via msn pop up, you=20 can stop this by doing the following, press the left windows key, press S, this will take you to settings press enter, now press enter on=20 control panel, now press A, until you hear administration tools press enter on it. Now press S for services local, press enter, it will now say services local=20 tree view, press the tab key and this will take you to a list view. once in this list press the M key, this will bring up the first messenger=20 service item we want to turn off, so now press alt enter this time, this will bring up the properties for this item, now tab across until you locate=20 the radio button to change it's status, it will say status started and set=20 to automatic, this means it's started when your computer starts up, so we=20 want to change this, down arrow until it says disable. Now if you tab to the next tab this will say stop button this will stop the service now and=20 ask you to confirm with a close button, press the space bar on this, now=20 this will take you back in to the properties again where you tab to the=20 apply button press the space bar then tab to ok and press the space bar again.
