Hi all,

I received notification earlier of some Microsoft updates and elected to have them installed ... but the first, Microsoft Net Framework (SP1 I think it was) failed to install so the others didn't either ... and now they keep coming back and the saga is repeated ...

Any ideas what I do to get the rest installed and even the one that won't?

Having a brill day (don't think) with some real gremlins! Earlier I was told that I had signed into Microsoft's Live Messenger on another computer so couldn't sign in on the one I was using. Since I haven't used the other computer for some days and definitely have been on Live Messenger on this one since, I knew it wasn't true ... Anyway, what's more, I then got a message from someone wanting to talk to me and I was able to communicate ... all the time being shown as "Cannot sign in"! "Go figure" as they say in the States!

Anyway, that one seems to be resolved - just one more out of three problems today yet to resolve so any help would be most welcome.

Thanks.
