If your problem is a lack of USB ports then a hub would be the best
solution to give you more ports. There is no way to add an extra PCMCIA
slot to a laptop, this slot gives direct access to the system bus and
therefore cannot be reproduced as a USB connectable appliance.

Subject: [access-uk] Extra card slot on laptop

Hi

I need to have a second card slot on my laptop, I have a
pcimcia card to give me extra usb ports so I cannot use my
wlan card for wireless broadband which we are going to have
shortly, in the same slot. Is there something I can get to
plug in via usb to give me another card slot so that I can
go onto broadband?

Regards

Adrien
