[access-uk] External hard drive partitioning

Hi,

I've just added an 80 Gig external drive to my system for back up.

Could someone advise me the best way of utilising this? How do I go about 
partitioning it? and how many partitions should I be looking at

Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.
