Hi Eleanor,

"I don't know what Option 3 is, now isn't that dreadful and me paying to them!!!"

I believe including 0845 and 0870 numbers in BT calling plans has already started. Even if one is on the basic plan or whatever that plan is called they still benefit from this new BT offer.

"Incidentally I presume when you talk about having your own domain Steve, you mean that you have your own website also? So someone like me who does not, then that is of no value."

You don't have to have a website if you have a domain name. You can have just an email hosting option. I do have a domain but don't have a website. You would still have to pay for the domain registration and for hosting your email though of course. And, one has to be prepared to deal with the hosting issues. But I agree with Steve, my email is Amro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx, sounds good and will stay unchanged for as long as I use emails! If one doesn't want to go down that root, which's understandable, at least have a hotmail, Yahoo email account or something similar. For me, having my email on my ISP's domain is a definite no no!

Cheers,
Amro

Hi Eleanor,

Because I am on Option 3, I got a letter about it from BT. I think it may
have started, but if not, it starts in April.

All the best

Steve

Hi Carol,

Probably not any more now that 0845 numbers are free from BT if you are on
one of their Option plans.

All the best

Steve

Hi Alexander,

Oh, I don't remember seeing this number so I've taken it for future
reference. The one I gave yesterday was 01202 5488888. I don't know if
it
still works but, if it does, it may be a cheaper option for some than the
0845 number.

Hi Peter, carol, Amro and all Eset users,

Following Peters request for help with a number for Eset,
I'm also a user of Eset products, (Nod32 in my case), and I
had reason to contact Eset support by telephone yesterday,
so after reading messages on this thread, I took a look at
www.eset.co.uk and found they do have a support number, it
is 0845 838 0832 I hope that helps.
