I believe that several list members, like myself, use the Eset Smart Security package, and I would be interested to hear whether anyone else has encountered a strange behaviour which has just started on my Vista laptop. I have the machine set to "Sleep" when not used for more than 5 minutes. When I "wake it up" it sometimes gives the error message - "Unable to read firewall configuration!". I close this dialogue and re-boot and everything seems to be working as normal. but it is a little unsettling as currently I have no hardware firewall. Any comments would be much appreciated, Douglas -- Douglas Harrison ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
