Hi Roger.
Have you all the correct codecs installed?
Also what make/model is your graphics card?
Hi All
I posted this request for help a few days ago but got the message wrong. I am trying to convert a film from avi format to DVD but partway through the conversion it blanks the screen and a message comes up with
Signal Over Range
in a box in the centre of the screen. No other wording at all not even a title to the box. No boxes saying OK or Next or anything. I've not found a way of progressing except to re-boot the machine and it enters an area to do with Cmos and a chksum error. This means nothing to me so another re-boot puts me back into Windows XP. I again try to convert the film but now it gets so far and just re-boots me machine.
I've done a Google and it seems I may have a monitor resolution problem but honestly I just don't understand it so if anyone can help I'll be most appreciative.
Thanks in advance
Roger
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
