If you happen to havethe sapi4 version of elloquents which was called e t i elloquents and was an option on the window-eyes CDs until a few versions ago, it is perfectly ok to use it with NVDA as it shows up in the list of sapi4 synthasisers. Likewise, if you have kurzweil 1000, certainly up to version 8, the i b m viavoice synthasiser which is identical to elloquents also shows up in the sapi4 list.
