Definitely Tony, will give it a go. never thought of that. I find I can only contact them via the webpage so if any of you other there knows of any other way I can ensure contact with In Touch I would be absolutely delighted.

Hi Eleanor

Well Done!

I imagine that it would make a good story for the In Touch programme.

Your fight and the OU finally coming up trumps.

It may help others.

I would like to thank all of you for taking such an interest in my posting with regard to the lack of accessability of my law textbook through the Open University. The publishers acknowledged that there was an electronic copy available while the Open University insisted for months and even up until today, that I could not and would be unable to receive same. I was even sent a letter from the publisher yesterday quoting exactly what the Open University said to me, a retraction of their initial statement. Today however, good news, a letter of apology to me from the Open University and the Publishers and indeed the college of Law. I am being sent by currier the electronic copy of the book today and the files are being e-mailled to me also today. This was a battle (sadly) which has gone on for over 6 months but it is great to have a positive outcome. Important to standby what one believes. Thanks to those of you who wrote to me off list too expressing your concern and abhorence that I was not having my needs met.

 Eleanor Burke
